Funding for the development of the ENTRI data access
system was provided by NASA, for which
CIESIN operates the Socioeconomic
Data Application Center (SEDAC).
Participation in the ENTRI Service
The ENTRI Service is a cooperative effort. We gratefully
acknowledge the contributions of the World Conservation Union, IUCN, which provided international treaty
status data from its Environmental Law Information System; UNEP,
which provided treaty summaries from its Register of International Treaties and
Other Agreements in the Field of the Environment; the Multilaterals Project
at Tufts University's Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, which provided
some treaty texts; the British Columbia Ministry of Environment, Lands,
& Parks, which provided treaty texts from its Pollution Prevention Compendium;
and the Antarctic Cooperative Research Centre,
which also provided treaty texts and status information.
