See the GRID-Sioux Falls web site at http://grid2.cr.usgs.gov The 1980 and 1990 estimates produced for this database were used to produce the P95E estimate. Pop data sources: Kingdom of Lesotho (1987), Population census 1986, Preliminary results, Bureau of Statistics, Maseru. Kingdom of Lesotho (1987), Socio-economic indicators of Lesotho 1987, Bureau of Statistics, Maseru. 1) contains total pop by district and sex for 1976 and 1986 (86 = preliminary figures). 2) contains pop for 1966 (in 000). P60-90 based on intercensal growth rates. GIS coverage obtained from the EDC/USAID/FEWS project.
