Urban Criteria for Settlements (UN): Cities and urban-type localities, officially designated as such, usually according to criteria based on the number of inhabitants and predominance of non-agricultural workers and their families.
Administrative Population Edits and Notes: The 1999 population do not have separate population for the cities (ad. Gors), thus to match the 1989 data with the 1999 data, the population of the ad gors are merged with the parent rayons.
