This search combines the power of Google's free text search capabilities with structured metadata that CIESIN compiled for each Conference of Party Decision, including the treaty name (or Convention), COP number, year, decision number, and title of the COP decision. Thousands of individual COP decisions are cataloged and then indexed by Google to enable sophisticated searches targeting the structured metadata and the free text in the decisions. The combination enables structured queries that usefully narrow the results sets.
