CIESIN's Guide to FGDC Compliant Metadata

TABLE OF CONTENTS

The Guide to FGDC Compliant Metadata is designed to assist metadata writers in the production of the FGDC Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (FGDC-STD-001-1998) by providing definitions for all and examples for most of the elements in the standard. It is not intended as a substitute for the FGDC-STD-001-1998 production rules.
