Thematic Guide to Integrated Assessment Modeling
Energy Modeling Forum 12 Dataset and Guide
The Energy Modeling Forum (EMF) was established in 1976 at
Stanford University to provide a forum for energy researchers to
collaborate on the study of specific energy issues.
The 12th Energy Modeling Forum (EMF-12),
Controlling Global Carbon Emissions: Cost and Policy Options,
examined 14 energy models. These models were:
- Edmonds/Reilly
- Global-Macro
- Global 2100
- OECD-GREEN
- IEA
- CETA
- TGas
- DGEM
- US Markal
- Fossil2
- Gemini
- Goulder
- MWC
- CRTM-RD
The
EMF-12 dataset is available through the visualization and analysis
service.
The Thematic Guide provides
additional information about the Energy Modeling Forum, as does the
EMF web site.
