MiniCAM Model Guide Home Page

MiniCAM is composed of two component models: the Edmonds-Reilly-Barns (ERB) energy model first developed at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and the Model for the Assessment of Greenhouse-Gas Induced Climate Change (MAGICC) atmospheric global climate model. Technical information included is provided by the model developers and is reproduced with the permission of the authors and publishers. If you are unfamiliar with the field of integrated assessment modeling, we recommend that you first review SEDAC's Thematic Guide on Integrated Assessment of Climate Change.

Model Contents:

• SUMMARY -- brief overview of MiniCAM and other modeling efforts at the Pacific Northwest Laboratory.

• DETAILS -- a technical description of MiniCAM is provided using documentation prepared by the model developers. Additional links below provide descriptions of the ERB and MAGICC components of MiniCAM.
