The National Aggregates of Geospatial Data collection is designed to make geospatial data usable by analysts who require data aggregated to the national level. Thematically oriented towards variables useful to the study of interactions between humans and their environment, the collection aggregates geospatial data to the national level in standard tabular format.

The first data set in this collection is the Population, Landscape, and Climate Estimates (PLACE) data set which includes variables estimating population and area within distinct classifications of biomes, climate zones, coasts, elevation, population density, and slope. Additional data sets are forthcoming.
