Google Earth

Google Earth is a desktop application that allows the visualization of satellite and other data in a 3-D globe environment. Layers from the Poverty Mapping and Gridded Population of the World projects have been made available in formats that can be viewed in Google Earth. To use these files you will have to first download and install Google Earth from earth.google.com.

Keyhole Markup Language (KML) files for viewing data in Google Earth:

• Poverty Mapping Infant Mortality Rate and Underweight Children layers
• Gridded Population of the World population density layers.
