Urban Criteria for Settlements (UN):
The district headquarters and other settlements of rapid population growth with facili-ties that tend to encourage people to engage in non-agricultural activities.
Administrative Population Edits and Notes:
Data were extrapolated using regional level growth rates between 1991 and 2001. These rates were applied to the 2001 population to extrapolate the data to target years. A 5% growth rate cap was applied to select units. Note that the 2001 population at the Constituency level doesn''t include "Institutional Population."
