Country-level Population and Downscaled Projections Based on the SRES B2 Scenario, 1990-2100, was developed at CIESIN, Columbia University, by Stuart R. Gaffin, Xiaoshi Xing, and Greg Yetman. Wolfgang Lutz and Anne Goujon of International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) developed and supplied the population downscaling based on the A1, B1 and A2 SRES scenarios. This work, including access to the data and technical assistance, is provided by CIESIN, with funding from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration under Contract NAS5-98162 for the Operation and Maintenance of the Socioeconomic Data and Applications Center (SEDAC).
