Stratospheric Ozone and Human Health

Selected reports by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) on the environmental and health effects of stratospheric ozone depletion, its monitoring, and regulation are part of this revised guide. In addition, it offers a bibliographical collection of related scientific papers and materials. The topics coincide with, but are not be limited by, those covered in the UNEP Environmental Effects Assessment Panel. The reports and bibliography presented here replace the Thematic Guide on Ozone Depletion and Global Environmental Change along with other resources formerly available from this site.

A Guide to Global Population Projections

A discussion drawing on new practices and new thinking on issues related to global population prediction, including assumptions on which projections are based; comparison of methodologies and recent results from prominent institutions; and pointers to other sources of demographic information and projection results.
